Man-Heum has same dream in The Atypical Family: Episode 8. She takes out the ring from her drawer. She thinks the dream doesn’t happen. Gwi-Ju visits Il-Hong. He asks her to let Da-Hae get together with him. He promises to help her get rich. But Da-Hae persuades Il-Hong not to trust the guy. Because she knows he can disappear anytime.
Gwi-Ju follows Da-Hae outside. He reveals he intended to spend more time with her. He disappears. Il-Hong walks out the house. She thinks Da-Hae made Gwi-Ju leave. She wonders why she gave up the golden goose. Da-Hae admits that she has feelings for Gwi-Ju. She asks Il-Hong to help her.
Sun-Gu returns home after he cheated on his wife. Man-Heum shows him the ring. She thinks Da-Hae stole the ring. Gwi-Ju tangles Da-Hae when she’s eating. She reminds Il-Hong that she promised to help her. But Il-Hong wants to make the decision after she waits for a while.
Grace Kang shows the stock to Gwi-Ju. She asks him to help her. But he claims that he cannot do it because he’s not happy. Da-Hae reminds her family that the guy is tricking them. She goes on a blind date. The guy decides to leave even if she brought his daughter a present.
She breaks the coffee cup when he tries to leave. He mistakes the he was the one who broke the cup. He intends to compensate her for her clothes. Gwi-Ju reveals he’s Da-Hae’s third husband. He drags her out of the cafe. She persuades him to go to look for his happy life.
She finds another target. She bumps him and she pretends to ran into him on the beach. But the man’s wife shows up. She tries to beat Da-Hae because she thinks Da-Hae was the one who massaged her husband. But Gwi-Ju stops the lady. He takes Da-Hae to run away.
He asks her to eat with her. She rejects it. He asks her to work with him then. She offers the price of ten million won. He takes her to the restaurant. He promises to give her ten million won when she tries to leave. He drinks with her. He persuades her not to worry about him because he thinks he can get benefits from it.
She asks him not to save her as well because she thinks she can leave the family if she wants to do so. He wonders how did she become family with those people. She claims that she’s a bad person as well. He mentions she was very happy when she talked about how did she learned to bike.
She reveals she was very happy after she learned how to bike without her parents’ help. He disappears in front of her. She explains it to the restaurant owner that Gwi-Ju went to restroom. Gwi-Ju returns to the hospital. Hyeong-Jin gives the medicine to Gwi-Ju. He blames him for climbing to the tree without his order. But Gwi-Ju only cares for the girl he just saved.
The girl shows up with her mother. They thank Gwi-Ju. He sees Il-Hong and Hyeong-Tae. He tails them. Il-Hong walks into the room. Da-Hae is holding a funeral for her father. Il-Hong is rude to Da-Hae. She asks her to sign the paper for the debts of her father. She leaves with Hyeong-Tae. Gwi-Ju attends Da-Hae’s father’s funeral. He pays his respect to Da-Hae’s father. He puts his hand on Da-Hae’s shoulder for comforting her. She tears up.
Da-Hae returns home. She reports to Il-Hong that she went on a blind date. She believes that she’s going to get married. Grace Kang wonders if Il-Hong trusts Da-Hae. Il-Hong thinks she shouldn’t rely on Da-Hae. Gwi-Ju returns home. I-Na blocks his way. She asks him about Da-Hae.
He claims that the lady isn’t related to them anymore. She takes off her glasses. She reads his mind. She learns that he had a date with the lady. She smiles to walk away. Man-Heum wakes up from her dream. She asks Sun-Gu to get her some water. But he’s missing.
Sun-Gu stays with Madam Shin at the nightclub. She tells him that he’s her light. But he’s caught by her husband. Madam Shin’s husband threatens to sue Sun-Gu. Sun-Gu begs Madam Shin’s husband for his mercy. He promises to pay him.
Dong-Hee looks into the CCTV. She finds out that the one who pushed her was Grace Kang when Grace Kang just shows up. She chases her and she almost throws her from the second floor. Gwi-Ju visits Il-Hong again. She promises to let Da-Hae accept his deal.
She stops Da-Hae when Da-Hae is going to go on the second blind date. She asks Hyeong-Tae to let the two have a date. Hyeong-Tae follows Da-Hae and Gwi-Ju when the two walk on the street. Gwi-Ju tries to hold Da-Hae’s hand. But she doesn’t give the chance to him.
The three sit on the bench. Hyeong-Tae tries his best to make Gwi-Ju happy. But Gwi-Ju isn’t happy at all. He mentions Da-Hae liked the shaved ice. He goes to the store with Hyeong-Tae. He buys the shaved ice. But he catches the chance to flee after he let Hyeong-Tae go to buy bus tickets.
He returns the scene where he parted with Da-Hae. He gives the shaved ice to her. She smiles. Da-Hae went to steal bread from the bakery when she was a student. The old lady paid the bread for her. She took her to her store. She let her eat her shaved ice because she knew she was the survivor of the fire accident.

Da-Hae explains it to Gwi-Ju that she tricked people for taking revenge for the person who saved her. She reveals the person left a ring to her. She tears up when she eats the shaved ice. He gives the winning numbers to her. He asks her to go to pay off the debts with the numbers. He returns to the bus station. He asks Hyeong-Tae if he bought the bus tickets.
