Sun-Jae sits on the bench with Lim Sol after he saved her in Lovely Runner episode 2. She admits that she was in a car accident. But she forgets what happened in episode 3. He apologizes to her about the swim pants. But she tells him that it’s fine. He reveals he’s going to take part in the game.
Confession Is Hard for Sun-Jae
He takes part in the game. She comes to watch the swimming competition. She prays for him. He wins. She smiles when she looks at him. It flashes back. Sun-Jae takes Lim Sol home. She’s happy to get into her house. He gives her the fly kiss. But he sees In-Hyuk. He gives him the fly kiss. In-Hyuk persuades Sun-Jae to confess his feelings to Lim Sol at the right time.
Sun-Jae and Lim Sol walk on the street. It’s their first date. She sees the restaurant. She’s excited to get into the restaurant. But it’s not the restaurant he intended to take her to. They eat at the restaurant. Sun-Jae gives his food to Lim Sol.
She’s excited because she’s eating with her idol. She explains it to Sun-Jae that she’s his fan. But he wishes to be her boyfriend. He learns that she doesn’t have feelings for Tae-Sung. They leave the restaurant. They walk on the path.
Lim Sol asks Sun-Jae for Fifty cents when he’s going to confess his feelings to her. He gives the coins to her. She begs him to take photos with her in the booth. They get into the booth. She asks him to act cute before they take photos. He does it. He’s going to confess his feelings to her. But their photos are ready. Lim Sol takes a look at the photos. She’s very happy.
They’re on the bus. Lim Sol wants to pee. She sees the child cries to his mother when he wishes to pee as well. She wishes the lady to ask the driver to stop the car. But the lady takes out a bottle. She lets her child pee in the bottle.
Sun-Jae asks the driver to stop the bus. Lim Sol gets the chance to get off the bus. Sun-Jae tells Lim Sol that he will watch her. She’s scared to run away. Geun-Deok comes to return the videotape when Bok-Soon is working in the store. She sees him. He flees before she catches him. She sees the videotape he left. His leg was hurt when he fled.
Sun-Jae returns home with Lim Sol. He tells her that he doesn’t want to be her fan. So she offers to be his friend. In-Hyuk sees it when he scatters the petals for the two. He comforts Sun-Jae that Im Sol didn’t reject him because he didn’t confess his feelings to Im Sol.
Sun-Jae Cannot Swim Anymore
Sun-Jae’s shoulder is hurt when he practices. Lim Sol comes to the swimming pool to watch him. But he’s not there. He’s told that Sun-Jae was sent to the hospital. The doctor tells Sun-Jae that he cannot swim anymore. Sun-Jae is lost when he sits on the bench at the bus stop.
Lim Sol visits Sun-Jae. She finds out that he’s not in the house. He gets a message from Geun-Deok. He goes to his father’s restaurant. Geun-Deok welcomes Sun-Jae with the customers at the restaurant. He tells the customers that his son just got a gold medal. He pays the swimming lesson for Sun-Jae. But Sun-Jae asks his father to cancel it because he decided not to swim.
Lim Sol goes to Geun-Deok’s restaurant. She sees Sun-Jae having a fight with his father. Geun-Deok slaps Sun-Jae after knowing Sun-Jae intends to work at his restaurant. Lim Sol returns to her room. She learns that she didn’t change Sun-Jae’s fate. She cries when she thinks about that she cannot change her car accident fate.
She visits In-Hyuk. She remembers Sun-Jae killed himself because he was attacked by the fans of In-Hyuk. She persuades In-Hyuk to be nice to Sun-Jae. But she’s hit by the football. She remembers her mother’s hand was burned when their house was on fire. She runs away.
Tae-Sung Changes Lim Sol’s Mother’s Fate
Lim Geum is cooking at home. Bok-Soon calls him. She asks him to unclog the toilet. Lim Sol calls Lim Geum. He doesn’t pick up her phone. Because he’s working. Tae-Sung rides his motorcycle by. He gives Lim Sol a ride after knowing her house is going to be on fire. Ga-Hyun sees it.
Hyun-Joo walks into Lim Sol’s house. She runs into Lim Geum. They don’t note that the kitchen is on fire. Hyun-Joo passes out after she smelled the smoke. Lim Geum finds out that his kitchen is on fire. He carries her out of the house when Lim Sol and Tae-Sung just get into the house.
Lim Geum takes Hyun-Joo to the rooftop. He tries to give her artificial respiration when she doesn’t wake up. She punches him and breaks his tooth. Tae-Sung puts out the fire with the fire extinguisher. Bok-Soon returns home. Lim Sol finds out that her mother’s hand is fine. She thanks Tae-Sung for changing her mother’s fate.
Lim Sol Is Drunk
Geun-Deok returns home. He sees Sun-Jae sleeping on the couch. He cries when Sun-Jae wakes up. The father and the son go to the bar. Geun-Deok blames Sun-Jae for not telling the truth to him. Sun-Jae cries after knowing his father decided to let him get surgery. Geun-Deok mentions Sun-Jae borrowed the videotape. Sun-Jae doesn’t know how to explain it.
The doctor gives the surgery to Sun-Jae. But Sun-Jae still cannot swim. Lim Sol hears what the doctor said. She cries. Sun-Jae sees her. He doesn’t know why she cries. She steals her grandma’s chicken. She gives the chicken to Geun-Deok. She lets him and Sun-Jae eat it. He gives his wine to her. She drinks up the wine. She’s drunk.
Sun-Jae Kisses Lim Sol
Lim Sol tails Sun-Jae to the swimming pool. He learns that she drank his father’s wine. She takes out the MP3. She invites him to listen to the music with her. She falls asleep. He lets her lean her head on his shoulder. She steps on the MP3 by mistake. He hugs her when she’s going to fall. She holds his face when she looks at him. He confesses his feelings to her. But she doesn’t hear what he said. She promises to stay by his side. He kisses her.
She goes to the school next day. She’s shocked after knowing the MP3 recorded what she said yesterday. Ga-Hyun runs into Tae-Sung in the school. She thinks he should date Lim Sol. He sees Lim Sol. Sun-Jae sees Lim Sol. He tries to chase her. But he sees Tae-Sung confessing his feelings to Im Sol. Im Sol is shocked. She returns to 2013. The Im Sol in 2008 accepts Tae-Sung’s feelings.
