Frankly Speaking: Episode 4 Recap

Ki-Baek watches his news that he announces to leave the bad JBC News in Frankly Speaking: Episode 4. He thinks he made the right decision. But another Ki-Baek reminds him that he will starve to death for his dream. He returns home. Woo-Joo returns home as well. She takes a look at the coffee she carries.

Woo-Joo remembers she saw the chief at the cafe. She was happy to be close to her. But she found out that the chief was meeting with Ha-Young. She learned that the chief paid Ha-Young more than her even if Woo-Joo is the head writer. Ha-Young promised to cast Jeong-Heon.

Frankly Speaking: Episode 4

Woo-Joo returned her office when she told herself not to be jealous of Ha-Young. But she heard what the colleagues said. They thought Ha-Young is better than her. Woo-Joo was lost to go to the lobby. She tried to look for a chance. She ran into Jeong-Heon. She remembered Ha-Young planned to cast Jeong-Heon. She passed by the audition room in episode 3. She worshiped Ki-Baek after he gave a wonderful speech.

Woo-Joo returns home. She’s surprised to see Ki-Baek. He claims that he’s living in the house. He realizes that she’s the landlady’s daughter. She wonders why he doesn’t live the huge department. He reveals the huge department belongs to his friend.

He tries to leave because he knows the rooftop belongs to her. But she shares the rooftop with him. They watch the night view together. She tells him that his leaving was very cool. She intends to throw away the bread she bought. But he eats the bread. They drink coffee together.

Bok-Ja is going to go out for a school reunion. She asks Woo-Joo to take care of her grandson Gu-Won. Woo-Joo mentions the storage room is too small to Ki-Baek. She rejects it when Bok-Ja intends to let the guy live with her. Ki-Baek’s parents leave home.

Ki-Baek stays in the house with his two brothers. They eat the noodles together. Un-Baek doesn’t wish Ki-Baek to live in the house. Ki-Baek claims that he lives with them because he has no choice. Woo-Joo waits for Jeong-Heon in the lobby.

She hands over the coffee to him when he shows up. She sits with him and she has coffee with him. He agrees to do her show. But she still doesn’t forgive him because he was the one who dumped her. Ki-Baek thinks about if he needs to get a new job.

He runs into Gu-Won. The kid asks Ki-Baek to teach him to bike because his mother is very busy. He doesn’t give up even if he trips when he bikes. Ki-Baek gets a call from Ji-Hu. Min-Gu is excited after knowing Woo-Joo cast Jeong-Heon.

Kwak Beom breaks into the office. He blames Woo-Joo for letting Jeong-Heon reject him. He mentions Ha-Young is a better writer. He asks Woo-Joo for Ha-Young’s number. But she points out that it won’t change even if he calls Ha-Young. She calls him a dog. He gets angry and he tries to beat her.

Jeong-Heon stops Kwak Beom when he shows up. Kwak Beom has to leave. Jeong-Heon volunteers to buy the team a meal. But Woo-Joo rejects it. Ha-Young convinces Woo-Joo. Woo-Joo goes to the restaurant with Jeong-Heon and Ha-Young. Min-Gu and I-Na don’t attend the gathering.

Woo-Joo notes that Jeong-Heon is eating the spicy food. She remembers he ate the spicy food for her because she wasn’t in a good mood. She claims that they’re not his puppets even if he agreed to do the show. Chae Yeon thinks Woo-Joo shouldn’t say so when they’re eating. But Jeong-Heon agrees to Woo-Joo’s demand.

Woo-Joo and Ha-Young are outside the restaurant when Jeong-Heon is tangled by the crazy fans inside. Ha-Young praises Woo-Joo for winning Jeong-Heon’s heart. Ji-Hu takes Ki-Baek to the gathering. Ki-Baek sees Hyeok-Jin who’s hosting the show for the kids.

Hyeok-Jin was an anchor before. Ki-Baek attended Hyeok-Jin’s last show. Hyeok-Jin was Ki-Baek’s idol. Ji-Hu reveals Hyeok-Jin asked him to take Ki-Baek to see him after Hyeok-Jin heard Ki-Baek resigned. The old lady doesn’t know who Hyeok-Jin is. Ki-Baek reveals Hyeok-Jin is a freelance announcer.

Hyeok-Jin meets with Ki-Baek. He gives him a present. Ki-Baek is on the way home. He runs into Woo-Joo. She tries to cross the street. But the motorcycle rushes to her. Ki-Baek grabs Woo-Joo’s clothes so that she doesn’t get hit. He hugs her then.

She pushes him away and she leaves. They drink together. She lets him taste the spicy food. He tries to eat it but he stains his shirt. He finds out that she’s pretty when she wipes the food off his shirt. She picks up the notebook he dropped.

She returns it to him. But he lends the notebook to her because he thinks the notebook can help her. He lies on the rooftop when he dries his shirt. He remembers Hyeok-Jin cheered him up. Woo-Joo convinces the farmer. He agrees to let her take away all of the chili.

Bok-Ja calls Woo-Joo when she’s at the school reunion. She runs into a handsome guy. Yoo-Jung treats In-Soo’s wound. She reminds him that Ki-Baek won’t give them money this month. Ki-Baek hears what his mother said. He takes a look at his father’s wound.

Yoo-Jung finds out that someone lower the air conditioner to 18 degrees. She’s furious to ask Ki-Baek if he did it. He denies it and he returns to his room. He finds out that he could tell a lie. He remembers he stayed with Woo-Joo last night. He realizes that the woman was the one who turned off his switch.

He gets a call from someone who gives a task to him. He accepts the task after he was told that he will be paid quadruple. Woo-Joo is very happy after she rented the land. But she hears the director telling Ha-Young that he prefers to work with her. Ki-Baek arrives at the house. He needs to give speech lesson to the kids in the house.
