Ki-Baek is a famous anchor who works for JBC. But his leader Sang-Jin brings his son to the TV station in Frankly Speaking: Episode 1. The kid tangles Ki-Baek and he brings him trouble. Ki-Baek bears it for keeping his position of the main anchor.
The show is going to begin. Ki-Baek’s partner Hye-Yeon is nervous after she received a message. Woo-Joo meets with the guy Joo-Ho at the cafe. She reveals she was very busy. Ki-Baek takes cares the guest from Thailand alone on the show because Hye-Yeon isn’t well.
Woo-Joo gives the papers to Joo-Ho. She leaves the cafe. He learns that she’s very busy. Hye-Yeon remembers the photos his husband sent to her. It seems that he has known that she cheated on him. He threatens to make her pay for it.
The director scolds Hye-Yeon because she didn’t say anything when Ki-Baek tried his best to hold the show. He lets his assistant give the camera to Ki-Baek. Ki-Baek doesn’t know there’s a man glaring at him in the studio. Woo-Joo returns to the set.
She learns that the producer called her back because there’s no female guest. She mentions the producer promised her to take care of anything. I-Na reveals the Seong-Hun’s girlfriend doesn’t allow him to contact with any girl. Woo-Joo is furious to drink the fish sauce.
Woo-Joo goes to persuade Seong-Hun. But he rejects it. So she asks him about his girlfriend. We learns that the man in the studio is Hye-Yeon’s husband. He walks to the camera and he tells people that his wife slept with Seong-Hun. He even kidnaps Ki-Baek in front of camera.
Min-Gu reports to Woo-Joo that Seong-Hun was caught to sleep with Hye-Yeon. Seong-Hun drives his van to flee. Ki-Baek is summoned to Sang-Jin’s office. He admits that it was his mistake. The director summons Woo-Joo to her office. She claims that it wasn’t her mistake. Woo-Joo has to take the duty.
Sang-Jin thinks Ki-Baek didn’t do anything wrong. But he asks him to take care of it. He promises to think about to let him be the main anchor. Ki-Baek walks out of Sang-Jin’s office. He runs into Ji-Hu. They go to the restroom. Ji-Hu wonders if Ki-Baek contacted with his family because he knows Ki-Baek’s mother called Ki-Baek many timed.
The announcer shows up. He wonders if Ki-Baek will accept Golden Family’s offer. Because he’s interested in the show. Ki-Baek denies it. The announcer learns that Ki-Baek lives in a big house. He realizes that Sang-Jin supported Ki-Baek because Sang-Jin thought he can get benefit from it.
Woo-Joo stops the elevator after the director asked her to cancel the show. But the director reveals Jeong-Heon is going to take part in Woo-Joo’s show. She leaves. Woo-Joo and Ki-Baek are in the elevator. But the elevator stops. Ki-Baek farts. Woo-Joo cannot bears it. She lets the worker open the elevator. She gets off the elevator.
Ki-Baek walks out of the building. He sees a cigarette on the table. He tries to grab the cigarette. But two men show up. Ki-Baek avoids them. The two talk about the main anchor. One of the men thinks the leader won’t let a announcer be the main anchor.
Ki-Baek returns to the company. The news director asks Ki-Baek to help him do the live show. Ki-Baek agrees to it because he thinks the news director will help him be the main anchor. Woo-Joo has a meeting with her team. She listens to the radio. She finds out that the DJ’s voice is very sweet. She learns that the DJ is Ki-Baek. She decides to invite him.
Jeong-Heon the idea son-in-law sings a song in the fan meeting. Woo-Joo and Chae Yeon are off duty. Woo-Joo thinks Ki-Baek is a loser even if he looks perfect. She’s confident that the guy will join them. She notes that there’s a car tailing her. She doesn’t know who’s in the car. She knocks the window of the car. Jeong-Heon is in car. He smiles after he found out that Woo-Joo hasn’t changed. He leaves.
Sang-Jin summons Ki-Baek to his office. He asks him to take part in a variety show because he thinks Ki-Baek isn’t good. Ji-Hu wonders why Sang-Jin changed his mind. The announcer reveals Sang-Jin was scolded by the higher-up when Sang-Jin recommended Ki-Baek as the main anchor.
Ki-Baek doesn’t want to take part in the variety show because he knows he cannot be an anchor if he does so. But Sang-Jin doesn’t listen to Ki-Baek. Woo-Joo shows up with smiling. Sang-Jin introduces Woo-Joo as the writer of the variety show to Ki-Baek.
Ki-Baek and Woo-Joo go to the cafe. She invites him to take part in her show. But he claims that his ankle was hurt. He thinks he cannot play the ball game in the show. But she knows he told a lie to her. Ji-Hu meets with Ki-Baek at the restaurant. He persuades him to accept Woo-Joo’s offer. But Ki-Baek is against it.
Ki-Baek is on the way home. He receives a message from Sang-Jin. Sang-Jin reveals he has told Woo-Joo that Ki-Baek agreed to take part in her show. Ki-Baek gets a message from Woo-Joo who asks him to save her number. Woo-Joo breaks into the room when the singer PN is bullying his followers. He shows his smile to her.
She wonders why Ki-Baek doesn’t come. She calls him. She finds out that he just hid in the room. She introduces PN to him. Ki-Baek shakes hands with PN even if he knows PN isn’t a good person. The ball game begins. Ki-Baek takes his team to defeat PN’s team.
Chae Yeon isn’t happy because Ki-Baek has done three head shots. Woo-Joo takes Ki-Baek to the power room. She persuades him not to target PN. Because she thinks people will call him an amateur if he continues to do so. He claims that he’s not an amateur. He touches the power by mistake. He passes out after he was hit by the power.
