Lim Sol dozes off on the bus in Lovely Runner: Episode 7. Seon-Jae doesn’t wake her up. He chooses to accompany her. In-Hyuk calls Seon-Jae. He persuades him to use the chance to talk with Lim Sol. The bus driver stops the bus. Seon-Jae’s stuff drops from his bag. He tries to pick up his stuff.
Lim Sol wakes up. She runs out of the bus. Seon-Jae finds out that she left. He asks the bus driver to stop the bus. But the bus driver rejects it. Lim Sol waits for the bus at the bus stop. It’s raining. She tries to call her mother. But she sees the taxi.
She tries to get in the taxi. But she sees the rope in the taxi. She tries to flee. But the taxi driver gets her. Seon-Jae runs to the bus stop. He doesn’t see Lim Sol. He thinks she left. Lim Sol wakes up in the taxi. She finds out that she’s tied up. She tries to untie herself. But the taxi driver takes a look at her. She has to pretend to sleep.
She wakes up again. She uses the knife to cut off the rope. She flees. The taxi driver finds out that she cut off the rope. He drives his taxi to chase her. Seon-Jae looks for Lim Sol. He sees her being chased by the taxi. He runs to her when he calls her.
She sees him and she stops running. But the taxi driver drives the taxi to crash her. She falls off the bridge and she falls into the water. The taxi driver drives by. He takes a look at Seon-Jae. He leaves. Seon-Jae jumps into the water to save Lim Sol.
He carries her to the shore. She passes out. He tries to call the police. But the taxi driver hits him with the wrench. Seon-Jae’s watch drops when he fights with the taxi driver. The cops come. The taxi driver tries to flee. But he’s tangled by Seon-Jae. He’s arrested in the end. Seon-Jae sends Lim Sol to the hospital. Her family comes. He cries when he holds his watch.
We return to the day of the accident. Lim Geum breaks into Lim Sol’s room. But he finds out that she’s missing. Lim Sol is on the way to see Seon-Jae. But she runs into the taxi. She remembers the taxi driver was the one who made her lose her legs. She tries to flee. But the taxi driver catches her.
Seon-Jae finds Lim Sol’s umbrella on the street. He takes the umbrella to visit Lim Sol. But he’s told that she’s not at home. Lim Geum mentions what Lim Sol told him not to let her leave home. Seon-Jae remembers Lim Sol took him to the bridge. She told him that her accident is there.
But Lim Geum tells Seon-Jae that Lim Sol didn’t have an accident. He thinks it’s Lim Sol’s dream. Seon-Jae remembers Lim Sol admitted to him that it was a bad dream. He leaves her house. The taxi driver kidnaps Lim Sol. He drivers to the house.
He gets off his taxi and he leaves. Lim Sol gets up. She thinks she can change her fate. She sees him getting into the house. She uses the knife to cut off the rope. He prepares for killing her in the house. She unties herself and she takes away his car key.
He returns to the taxi with the wrench. He finds out that she fled. He tries to drive his taxi. But she took away his key. He drives his van to chase her. She flees to the woods. But she trips. Seon-Jae goes the the bus stop. He doesn’t find Lim Sol.
He goes to the police station. He reports it to the cop. But the cop doesn’t believe him because the murder case doesn’t happen. Lim Sol is on the way to flee. She sees the bridge. She chooses another way for avoiding her fate. The cop mentions there was a girl saying same thing. Seon-Jae is shocked.
The taxi driver drives his van to chase Lim Sol. She falls down because she’s tired. She sees Seon-Jae running to her. She takes a look at the truck. She decides to accept her fate. She closes her eyes. But the car blocks the truck’s way. The driver gets off the car. We find out that he’s Detective Kim.
Lim Sol does time travel to ancient time because she was saved. Seon-Jae wakes up the Lim Sol in 2018. But she doesn’t recognize him. Lim Sol finds out that she became a maid. She learns that it’s Joseon. She sees the king kissing the maid.
She’s against it because she worries that she will be kissed as well. She’s scolded by the director because they’re filming a drama. The guy hands over the calendar to her. She takes a look at the calendar. She learns that it’s 2023. She cries.
Another guy shows up. He mistakes that the first guy bullied Lim Sol. But Lim Sol doesn’t know who he is. She remembers he was the one who wanted to hire her in episode 1. She wonders what happened to Seon-Jae. She searches him and she finds out that he’s alive. She’s very happy.
She remembers they had an appointment to the bridge together. She runs to the bridge. But he’s not there. She mistakes that he went to dig the time capsule alone. She goes to the place where she buried the time capsule. But she finds out that the tree is gone.

She goes to Seon-Jae’s house. She smiles when she calls his name. She doesn’t know he just returns home. He looks cold. He walks into his house. He catches In-Hyuk when In-Hyuk takes a bath in his bathtub. In-Hyuk wishes to live with Seon-Jae. But Seon-Jae asks him to leave. The fan visits Seon-Jae. She flees when he opens the door. He calls police. The fan gives the poster to Lim Sol before she runs away.
