Gwi-Ju stays in the house alone after Da-Hae left in The Atypical Family: Episode 7. He goes back to the moment before he married her. He sees himself happiness when he holds Da-Hae’s hand. He thinks he was a fool. Dong-Hee cleans the mess with her family. She regrets for holding the wedding.
Sun-Gu has a fight with Man-Heum. He asks her to explain why she saw Da-Hae wearing their family ring in her dream. Dong-Hee takes out Da-Hae’s bag. Man-Heum finds a ring from Da-Hae’s bag. Dong-Hee tells Man-Heum that Da-Hae is a thief.
Sun-Gu tries to take Da-Hae’s side. But Man-Heum is furious to leave with the ring. Dong-Hee follows Man-Heum. Man-Heum blames Dong-Hee for flying in front of Grace Kang. Gwi-Ju remembers Dong-Hee caught Grace Kang and she reported to her mother that Da-Hae and Grace Kang worked together to trick them.
But Man-Heum let Grace Kang leave. She asked Il-Hong to leave before something happens. Il-Hong realized that Man-Heum didn’t invite any guest because she knew the wedding will be ruined. Gwi-Ju chased Da-Hae. He asked her if she told a lie to him that he saved her 13 years ago. She admits that she told a lie to him. He was sad to leave.
Gwi-Ju finds the marriage contract Da-Hae faked. He tears it up. Da-Hae is with Il-Hong at home. Il-Hong asks Da-Hae if she joined Bok family. Da-Hae reveals she wants to quit. She asks Il-Hong to kill her. She thinks Il-Hong won’t get any money if she does so.
Il-Hong leaves the room. Hyeong-Tae locks Da-Hae up. He thinks Bok family has superpowers. Grace Kang reveals she saw Dong-Hee flying. I-Na walks into Gwi-Ju’s room. She sees him. But he disappears after she came back. Sun-Gu has a meeting with Man-Heum.
He thinks Gwi-Ju’s weird actions were related to Da-Hae. But Man-Heum gets angry because she doesn’t want to hear the lady’s name. She asks Dong-Hee to watch I-Na. I-Na stays in the classroom alone. Jun-Woo shows up. He asks her to have a meal with him.
She rejects it. He reveals Hye-Rim asked him to invite her. She doesn’t believe it until Hye-Rim comes to invite her in person. But she hears Hye-Rim’s real thought after Hye-Rim took off her glasses. She’s nervous to push Hye-Rim away. She runs out of the classroom.
I-Na walks on the street. She remembers her mother asked her to come to the house without Gwi-Ju. The taxi almost hits I-Na. The driver gets off the car. He asks her if she’s fine. But she hears his thought. She’s scared. Sun-Gu calls I-Na’s school. He learns that I-Na is missing.
He breaks into Gwi-Ju’s room. He tries to report it to Gwi-Ju. But Gwi-Ju disappears. He goes to the moments he spent with Da-Hae. He thinks what she said were lies. He returns to his room. Sun-Gu reports to him that I-Na is missing.
I-Na goes to the saunas. Il-Hong peels the egg for I-Na. She asks her about her superpower. I-Na mentions what Da-Hae told Il-Hong not to look at her eyes. She grabs the egg from Il-Hong. She eats it. Il-Hong releases Da-Hae from the room. She thinks I-Na is a little gem when she looks at her. She tells Da-Hae that she’s going to give her another chance.
Da-Hae meets with I-Na. She asks her to leave the place. But I-Na rejects it because Da-Hae is the only one who doesn’t scare her when she looks at her eyes. She reveals her father disappeared. She thinks Da-Hae ruined the wedding because Da-Hae had feelings for her father. Da-Hae denies it. But she doesn’t dare to look at I-Na’s eyes.
Da-Hae decides to buy I-Na a pair of glasses. She takes her out of the saunas. Il-Hong tries to keep I-Na because I-Na didn’t show her power to her. Da-Hae protects I-Na. She takes her to the glasses store. She buys her a pair of expensive glasses.
They walk out of the glasses store. Gwi-Ju is waiting for them. I-Na learns that Da-Hae called her father. Da-Hae tells I-Na to leave with her father. But I-Na worries about Da-Hae. Because she read Il-Hong’s thought. Gwi-Ju finds out that I-Na wears new glasses.
She misunderstands Da-Hae. But I-Na reveals she went to the saunas on her own. She tells her father that Da-Hae isn’t a bad lady. But he takes her to his car. He lets her get in his car. He walks to Da-Hae. He reveals his colleague was the one who saved her from the fire since he didn’t save her. He reveals his colleague had a wife and a son. But he passed away from the fire for saving her.
Gwi-Ju leaves after he told the truth to Da-Hae. Da-Hae feels guilty. But she sees another Gwi-Ju. The Gwi-Ju takes her to Gwi-Ju’s car. He lets her block Gwi-Ju’s way. Gwi-Ju gets off the car. He realizes that the one who Da-Hae talks with is him. She asks him to take care of Dong-Hee because she knows Dong-Hee is in danger.
Gwi-Ju calls Dong-Hee when she’s working out in the gym alone in the evening. He learns that she’s fine. She doesn’t know Grace Kang is watching her behind her. Gwi-Ju mistakes that Da-Hae told a lie to him. She leaves. Grace Kang tells Dong-Hee that she’s not her rival.
Dong-Hee calls Ji-Han. She asks him for a meeting up. He tells her to come to the clinic. She tries to take the elevator. But the elevator is broken. So she goes to the stairs. The stairs are broken as well. Grace Kang pushes Dong-Hee when Dong-Hee tries to jump off the stairs.

Dong-Hee falls from the stairs. Gwi-Ju protects her with his body. Gwi-Ju carries Dong-Hee into his car. Da-Hae volunteers to drive for Gwi-Ju because his arm was hurt. Grace Kang sees it. She reports it to Il-Hong. Dong-Hee is sent to the hospital. The doctor tells Gwi-Ju that his sister is fine. He lets him leave the ward with him because he knows his arm was hurt.
